Office Progress Photos and a Brief Update!
September 29, 2023 Hello Reader, It is crazy to believe September is coming to an end! This month has been a whirlwind. I started a new contract role on September 1 and I've also been working in my office! Things have been so busy around here I haven't had much time to think about this newsletter, let alone get a blog out or add a new product to my store. So a brief update from me: My new contract role is with the Society of Outdoor Recreation Professionals (SORP). I'm also still working with the sister organization the Association of Outdoor Recreation and Education (AORE). I'm learning a lot with SORP and things are getting busy with AORE as we are a month out from the Outdoor Professional Conference. These roles have taught me a lot though. I have these two roles, plus my other clients. I'm staying busy! I'm learning to manage my time and I've learned not everything is life or death like I experienced in previous roles. I work with some of the most fabulous people and it makes everything even better! My amazing office is almost done! I can't thank my buddy Paula enough! (And her husband Zach, and I guess my husband too 😆). We have to finish up the "attic" space, but that will happen in the next few days. I haven't really organized or hung anything up, so I'm waiting to do a full reveal / video walk through, but it is coming. Enjoy some photos from the process since the last time I shared an update. Lots of doggie visitors, snuggles with my kiddos between painting, and Aspen supervising. I appreciate you all supporting my journey. I'll be back with marketing updates, illustrations, and more!
